Limina

Celebrated fine artist Rachel Goodyear continues her exploration into animation based work with ‘Limina’ a series of animations supported by her intricate drawings, and an untitled sculpture from York Art Gallery’s collection; all offering a glimpse into the psyche and fragments of the unconscious.

Together with ‘The Tides Within Us’ by Marshmallow Laser Feast and Kelly Richardson’s ‘Embers and the Giants’, they form Human Nature.

This internationally significant new media art exhibition was explored notions of separation between humans, our environment and technology. With quiet contemplation, we take a journey into the ecosystem of our own lives and experiences. Revealing how our bodies are hardwired, synchronised and inextricably linked to nature.
