Call for Artists: York UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts

City to City 2020: Human Responsibility

Ten UNESCO Creative Cities of Media Arts from around the world are working together to create an exhibition of five artworks, made collaboratively by ten artists working in pairs, city to city.
The works in this inaugural edition of City to City will respond to the theme Human Responsibility. The participating cities are Austin (United States), Braga (Portugal), Calí (Colombia), Changsha (China), Guadalajara (México), Karlsruhe (Germany), Kosice (Slovakia), Sapporo (Japan) and York (United Kingdom).

The works will be premiered as part of the programme of both Kosice’s Art & Tech Days festival, and York Mediale 2020.
