Light // Moves Documentary

Light // Moves was an otherworldly performance project exploring dance, coding, shadow and light through the creative minds of talented school children.

Working with local artists and practitioners, the students at Park Grove Primary Academy produced their own digital performance, from the first line of code to the final choreographed piece.

Light // Moves aims to inspire and cultivate young media artists by encouraging creative expression using technology.

This project will make the jobs of tomorrow a real possibility for York’s young people and will encourage them to see creativity as a part of their future. The pupils will be working with York based professionals:
