Getting around on residents weekend
With Park & Ride services running from six different sites around the city, it’s the low-cost, hassle-free way to travel into York city centre for Residents’ Weekend.
Park free of charge in secure car parks, pay on the bus and relax! You don’t even need to have cash with you as all buses are equipped to take contactless payments.
Fares are low, with up to three children aged 16 or under travelling free when accompanied by a paying adult and discounts available for regular Park & Ride users.
There’s even a special residents weekend offer on all First York buses which can see up to five people travel for £5 per day. This offer is only available through the First mobile app – just search First York in your phone’s app store to find it.
Services are frequent and all Park & Ride sites and buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with free WiFi. For timetables and fares, click HERE
If you can’t park and ride, you can get more information about all your transport options HERE
Blue badge parking will still be available outside the Hilton, and elsewhere across the city. Go HERE for further info.
