Return Workshop #3: Flat 70, London

Join us and the Flat 70 collective for a drop-in workshop to help shape the next iteration of Akeelah Bertram’s artwork Return.

Return began as an interactive installation in 2019 and has since evolved into a web-based work that will capture contributions from people around the world. Return seeks to investigate how we can facilitate meaningful connection across the globe, reflecting on the lived experiences of the African diaspora.
Through a series of drop-in workshops, participants will create a rich resource of stories, ideas and provocations around shared cultural and social heritage.

These conversations will inform a series of four podcasts produced and broadcast by Sable Radio in Leeds in early 2023.

Drinks and refreshments will be provided. For the best experience, we recommend bringing your own earphones/headphones.
Drop in anytime between 4-8pm to experience the work-in-progress, have your say and stay as long as you like!
