Dance & Digital: Workshop with Alexander Whitley Dance Company

Alexander Whitley is a London-based choreographer working at the cutting edge of British contemporary dance. Students will work with AWDC to test their new project prototype: The Digital Dance Studio, a ‘sandbox’ tool that introduces users to new ways to digitally explore movement by playing with spatial and temporal elements of a choreographic sequence, changing the position, number and placement of dancers as wells as experimenting with set, music, timing, dynamics and intervals.
