Tatiana Collet Apraxine is a multi award winning French immersive director and artist. Tatiana extensively trained and worked as a theatre practitioner before transitioning to the XR world. Her work centres on themes such as grief, trauma and embodiment – but is not devoid of levity and playfulness. Tatiana’s previous VR film, The Descent won the inaugural Innovate UK Immersive Tech Award 2023 in the Creative XR Category, was selected for the Lumen Prize. She was a resident with Mediale, and a Sheffield Doc Fest Alternate reality talent. Her VR project in development Mystis was a part of the BFI-supported Develop Create XR programme, Venice Biennale College Cinema Immersive 2025, won 2nd place in the Immersive Film and Storytelling track the XRCC hackathon, and was selected to be a part of the MIFA pitches at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026.
