Humira Imtiaz

Humira Imtiaz is a British Kashmiri director, producer and creative technologist based in Greater Manchester, working at the intersection of immersive storytelling and social impact.

They currently lead The Kids Are Halal, a disabled-led MR experience reimagining 1990s working-class South Asian childhood – supported by AmplifyXR Labs and was shortlisted for an Unlimited Open Award. Recent work includes Rootless Connections (AI‑generated visuals from interview transcripts exploring Kashmiri native-diaspora connections) and the Metaverse Creation Lab with Women in Immersive Technologies Europe.

Humira was selected for Sheffield DocFest’s Alternate Realities XR Artists Forum and has collaborated with Vital Xposure, Mediale and ARC Stockton.
